Legal expertise shaped by a passion in technology. The Vectis team understands your product and the roadmap for tailored guidance.
Technology companies need lawyers who understand the product, not just the paperwork. The best legal work we do starts with genuine curiosity about the product: how the model is trained, what the data pipeline looks like, why the licensing structure matters to the engineering team. Vectis exists because that curiosity isn't a bonus. It's the foundation of every useful piece of advice.
Aadil Currimbhoy
Aadil has served as fractional general counsel for technology companies across AI/ML, SaaS, developer tools, and renewable energy; drafting and negotiating the MSAs, licensing frameworks, and data processing agreements their revenue depends on. His transactional work includes API and platform licensing for developer-facing products, enterprise subscription agreements for SaaS procurement, and data governance frameworks for AI companies navigating evolving regulatory requirements. Before founding Vectis, he built and led the technology practice vertical at Peritum Partners, where he structured acquisitions, joint ventures, and startup investments across sectors. He organised the Coromandel AI Conclave and authored the Coromandel AI Compact, a policy framework for AI regulation.
Sanjhna Vivekanand
Sanjhna advises technology companies across AI/ML, SaaS, and emerging tech, bringing independent expertise to both technical product compliance and transactional advisory. She collaborates with engineering and business teams to structure the MSAs, licensing frameworks, and data processing agreements that underpin her clients' core commercial operations. Her experience extends to the investment lifecycle, where she leads private equity investments, strategic acquisitions, and regulatory structuring for capital raises. Before joining Vectis, she practised within the technology and product advisory vertical at Peritum Partners, advising startups and mid-market companies on go-to-market readiness and AI-driven risk compliance. Previously, she practised with the Transaction Advisory vertical at JSA Advocates & Solicitors, conducting end-to-end due diligence and negotiating definitive documentation for complex domestic and outbound transactions.
Hirendhar Lakshmanan
Hirendhar's work sits at the intersection of law, systems, and emerging digital infrastructure. Over five years of practice, he has worked with international companies navigating cross-border legal, operational, and technological challenges. He holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London, where he specialised in internet and regulatory policy. He began his career with Safenames, working on domain management and digital brand protection. That early exposure to internet infrastructure and global enforcement frameworks shaped his understanding of how legal systems interact with the architecture of the web. At Peritum Partners, his work expanded into broader technology advisory, including structuring and negotiating commercial agreements for digital businesses: SaaS arrangements, API integrations, and data processing frameworks. His practice increasingly centres on AI-driven platforms and the challenges they introduce: consent, liability, and the fragmentation of responsibility in multi-party ecosystems. Alongside his legal work, he actively builds and experiments with web data infrastructure, bringing a product-oriented approach to legal problems as design challenges embedded within real-world systems.
